This past weekend PV’s Winter Guard finished their season by placing first in Equipment Use and third overall at a Pep & Pageantry competition in Bakersfield hosted by PPAACC Central California. This score was the highest ever earned by PV’s Winter Guard team, with less than 3 points separating third from first. (Third place 72.02, Second Place 72.2 and first place 74.3)

In addition to the high marks, Gillianne Soriano, a senior and third year member of Winter Guard, was awarded a Scholarship from the organization!

The Winter Guard has never experienced this level of success at such a competitive event and hopes to keep it going next year!
