Reporter Says “Thank You” to Varsity Soccer Players
“This season was amazing taking pictures of the boys and being there every single game taking their pictures. Taking pictures of them for two seasons straight and not missing their games. Throughout both seasons I’ve seen each and everyone of them grow together as a team and help each other in the games and practices. These boys have demonstrated that they are more then a team, they are family. Ever since the first game of this season I noticed that every individual plays as a team and they don’t give up on the ball they fight for it. Each and everyone of them has a future ahead of them and they will become great soccer players in the future. With the help of their coach I know these boys will be someone and I know he has taught them a lot. Even though I hardly interacted with some of these boys it felt good when they would always ask for their pictures every single game. There wouldn’t be a day that they wouldn’t ask for their picture. It feels good when they ask for their pictures and then compliment you on them and say they are good shots or that you did a great job on the pictures. It’s also nice when the own coach sees you on the field and thanks you for being their at the games taking pictures even though it’s cold and freezing outside, but I was always there. Even though throughout the season there was arguments with my mom to take me to the games because of my grade it was all worth it. Also, with me starting my soccer season I still made time to go and take the boys pictures. With me getting in trouble by my coach for missing practices it was for a good cause and more because these boys deserve their pictures to be taken every single game. Coach Brafman did a great job training these boys and he never gave up on them, he trained them hard and gave them advice throughout the games. Even though throughout the season there was games the refs wouldn’t ref right the coach and the rest of the boys still kept playing and never gave up. I want to thank the team and the coach for letting me take pictures of them throughout the season it was a pleasure taking their pictures. I wish nothing but the best to the coaches and the team next season whoever takes their pictures next season will do a great job and get the same compliments I got throughout the season. Thank you Coach Brafman for all those compliments you gave me it motivated me more to keep on trying on my photography skills and become a photographer. Thank you to the boys for asking me for their pictures and always saying “thank you” after every set of pictures I sent to them.” -Diana Valenzuela (12th, Reporter)
“I think my photographer was amazing. She stood out in the cold taking pictures of me that turned out very nice and I appreciate that. She needs to improve a little on those angles but other than that she’s a pro.” -Edgar Zacarias (11th)
