Rigo Maldonado Gets Top Scorer For Varsity Soccer
Rigo Maldonado gets top scorer out of the season. Throughout the season Rigo tried his hardest in every single game. He never gave up and tried even harder to score on the opposite team. Even though there were tough games for him to score he managed to at least score a couple of goals on the opponents. Throughout the season I would see Rigo do his best on the field and not give up. If the opponent would take the ball away from him he would do anything to get the ball back and score on the opponent. He’s a very talented young man that has a bright future ahead of him.
Q: How do you feel about making it to all league Pack 8 for soccer? How was your experience playing in varsity? Will you continue playing for college? What are some memories you’ll never forget? Is it your first time making it on to All-League-Pack-8? What is your goal for soccer in college? Is there anyone in specific you want to thank for helping you get to where you are right now in soccer?
A: “I feel really good because I was the top scorer even though I missed a couple of games. My experience playing varsity was really exciting. I want to play for college that would be a dream come true, I’m just waiting to see if I will get picked. The memories I will never forget are scoring the winning goals against our rivals. My goal for college is giving it my all and just making my dad and mom happy by playing there because I told them they are going to see me play for college. I want or try to play professional if it’s possible. I want to thank my parents for supporting me in the sport they don’t really like but when I play it’s different they love it. I also want to thank my coach Allan Brafman and Tylor because they taught me stuff on how to beat the defenders easier and by playing in every position” -Rigo Maldonado (12th, Varsity soccer player)
