Lips
I kissed words onto your lips
And your mouth curved over every syllable.
Instead of love letters,
It was closed eyes. Parted lips.
The way you held your hands in mine.
We did this until every word that
Entered through our mouths
Passed through the other.
We developed our own language
Only we understood.
