According to VarsityCoach Davis their Most Valuable player this year was Pepe Gonzalez, Most Improved was Cruz Ayon, and their Rising Stars this year were Cade Quezada and Abraham Yip. According to JV Coach Johnson, their Most Valuable player this season was Andy Hernandez, their Rising star was Franklin Cortez, and the MostImproved was Josue Hernandez. Both Varsity and JV had some outstanding players throughout the season, each player brings unique skills and strong ethic skills to the field. This year was tough for the Panthers. Varsityhad 1 victory against Gilroy, they tied up theirgame against Nipomo, and the rest were all tough losses. JV had 2 wins against Gilroy and Santa Maria and the rest were all losses,their best game being against Santa Maria 41-6.Although the PVHS football team doesn’t have many wins, they still have tons of support from our school community. Panthers have new and improved plans for this upcoming season.
