Boys Soccer

The PVHS Boys soccer team had recently gone to the CIF finals against Santa Maria Highschool but sadly did not win. Though they did not win the PVHS boys soccer team did win most of their games. Their Varsity team had talented players like Luis Cortez he is a very skilled player. Dedication and hard work is a big part of their team and the three that showed that the most were Bryan Robles, Caleb Toledo, and Sebastian Aquino these three boys showed lots of dedication and had lots of discipline. The soccer teams biggest win was against Madera South the team was so proud of this accomplishment because the team always worked hard but when they scored last minute it made them realize how important it is and how hard work pays off at the end which also led the team to other victories and then to the CIF finals. Many improvements wanted to be made Coach Braufman believed the team could commit a little more for this program and would also like to see the players getting most of their nutrition and getting good sleep. Some interesting facts- Luis Cortez, Sebastion Aquino, and Caleb Todelo have a total of 37 goals combined, 75% of the goals this season! As for the JV team they have splendid players as well. Luis Gaytan was one of their best defenders he was very consistent and always motivated his teammates to play their best. Most players won’t show as much
