A Beautiful New Year’s Resolution
The beginning of every new year or ending of one, people start to make goals that they set for themselves, a resolution. A person makes a resolution when they resolve to change their behavior to accomplish a personal goal or otherwise to improve their life.
What is your New Year’s resolution & how will it benefit you in the future?
My resolution for 2018 is to become something more and improve myself. Being in high school is so much pressure for many people. Here it’s all judgment and positivity/negativity that we tend to fear ourselves and who we really want to be. Well, this year I want to show the world who I am and show what I am capable of doing. However my resolution turns out, I will be better, not just in school, but life itself. I know I will fail and fail but I know that because of the goals I have set for myself it’s going to take time and it will be brutal. I am loving who I am but I also love new changes. I will change my look to please nothing but myself and that includes my style, hair, makeup, and body because my resolution is to be a better me. Someone who I love. Someone who I feel comfortable being.
Something else I feel I’m going to fulfill is my education. My education is very important to me because it is the way to my success as well as just trying to be better in general. The way to do that for me is not to just get right to it but get out of dark and low places in my life and better myself with the people I hang with or just people around me. The most important ideal when I am around my friends at school is to make the rest of my high school experience fun and exciting all the way moving forward. I am nervous to see what 2018 has for me and what I will actually accomplish but like I said, however it turns out, I just have to take it and tell myself each day that sooner or later it’ll all fall into place. I mean not too many people can admit their wrong doings and not too many want to change and have a goal for themselves. This year I will make it all by myself and by the end of the year.By the start of the next new year, I will be so happy with what I have done.
