Career Technical Education is essential to California’s future workforce. This is why PV is becoming a pioneer within C.T.E. development. In the fall, school administration commissioned the Media Marketing class to develop a short documentary highlighting the various pathways available to students. These fledgling film producers coined the phrase, “What’s your path?” This question and title combination prompts the student body to respond with an answer – challenging learners to add “focus to their future” by choosing one of Pioneer valley’s C.T.E. pathways. The counseling staff will show the short film to jr. high students during 8th grade orientations. All involved hope that the student testimonies will inspire upcoming generations to achieve a high level of learning within the C.T.E. pathways.
