Both Junior Varsity and Varsity Football squads found easy victory in Lompoc Friday night. Friday the 13th proved to be an unlucky day for Cabrillo athletics as they could barely find the end zone. PV’s Junior Varsity team won 41 -0 lead by quarter back Richie Robles. Yet, the JV defense was outstandingly strong with turnover after turnover. Pioneer’s Varsity athletes fought toward a 37-7 win. Danny Martinez passed for 117 yards and Tommy Nunez ran for 190 yards. On the defense, both Oskar Ruiz and Alejandro Zepeda got sacks. Number eight Danny Martinez earned player of the game.
