9/11 Water Polo

On 9/11 the boys varsity water polo played the Saint Josephs Knights, and came out victorious.  With a game full of goals, the score was 19-13.  The panthers had a really tough game, but came out on top.  With 8 goals from Adrian Eisner a freshman in the varsity squad, really helped the Panthers stay in the lead. At the end of the game, Adrian said, “I feel really cool, and I’m proud of my team.”  After the great performance from the boys varsity team, the JV girls dove into the pool ready to face the Atascadero Greyhounds.  Determined to get a win, the JV girls tried their hardest out in the pool! Although being outscored 3-13, the girls really fought hard!  Anxious to play, the varsity girls came out with a lot of energy! Throughout the match the girls fought hard, and kept trying to catch up to Atascadero, who outscored them in the second quarter.  Great saves from the goalie Karissa Enriquez, and goals from Anahi Chavez(2) , and Cali Perez(1) gave the girls hope, but in the end they just couldn’t keep up with the Atascadero Greyhounds.  The score was 3-12 in the end, but that didn’t bring down the ladies.  Goalie Karissa Enriquez said, “I was nervous for our girls, but as soon as the game started we enjoyed the game, and ignored the score, what’s important about the game, was that we enjoyed it.”  Great job from both the boys and girls water polo teams! Make sure to check out their next home game! GO PANTHERS!!!!!!
