The day started off with the boy’s JV waterpolo team, they lost the game, but put up a great fight against the Nipomo Titans.  Once the game ended the Boys Varsity team jumped straight in the pool, determined to get their second win of the season!  The panthers got off to a slow start, but some goals by Larry Daniel and Angel Aguilar really boosted the team’s confidence.  Sadly, at the end the boys’ ended up losing the game 6-10.  As for the Varsity girls, they tried their hardest, but really couldn’t come together throughout the whole game. Unfortunately they lost the game 1-12, where the only goal scored was by Jaqueline Castro.  The JV girls were trailing for most of the game, but 4 goals from Monique Rivera, and 4 from Bianca Cambero helped the girls come back.  Alas, the score for the JV girls was 9-10, losing the game as well.  After the girls really tough game Bianca Cambero expressed, “At first the game was challenging but then, we started feeling the adrenaline kick in, although being sore most of us girls stayed within the 30 minutes of the game, and we really pushed through, especially the newcomers! This game really brought us up.” We wish for the best to both the boys and girls water polo teams!  GO PANTHERS!!!
