Q: How long have you been teaching?
I have been teaching for 29 years.

Q: What made you want to teach?
I coached high school sports first, which led into teaching. Then I got married, so I had to get a job.

Q: What other schools have you taught at?
Going backwards, I’ve taught at Pioneer Valley High School, Santa Maria High School, Saint Joseph High School, New Cuyama High School, and Righetti High School.

Q: Out of all the schools you’ve taught at, which do you like the most?
Pioneer valley is the best.

Q: Do you coach any sports?
I don’t anymore, I did for 10 years. I coached football, basketball, and baseball, all levels. Freshmen, JV, and Varsity.

Q: What other jobs did you think about before becoming a teacher?
I wanted to be an architect, but I didn’t do it because I had to be really good in math and math was not my subject.

Q: Do you have any hobbies?
Being a husband, being a father, and I golf when I can.
