Start with a Prompt

If you have ever taken an English class you have probably had to write an essay using a prompt.  For this project we did the same thing for a drawing. Each student was given a prompt in the form of a copied scene from another drawing. The assignment was to create a world that incorporated the prompt and try to blend the prompt so that it would be unnoticed. Shading and style were important skills for each student to work on. Some of the students even went as far as doing a bit of research to get ideas on how to draw trees and the rest of the landscape. Which one do you like best?
