Christmas or New Years?

It’s that time of the year, and it’s just around the corner! Christmas is a time to be jolly and spend time with the people you love. New years is a time to celebrate the new year coming and have a fresh start.

Julieta Dominguez: “In my personal opinion I prefer New Years over Christmas. The reason being is because you can start fresh, make resolutions, and become a better you than you were last year. You can spend time and eat with family as you do in Christmas. It can also be a bias because we go to the snow every New Years.” (10).
Lizbeth Gomez: “I prefer Christmas over New Years because I like to spend time with my family. We all get together, party, and have a great time. I also love to open presents.” (11).
Lisette Guzman: “I like Christmas more because it’s a time to be jolly. Also because my family gets together at my house and we have lots of fun.” (11).
Jonathan Navarro: “I prefer New Years because it is a time of year that I can actually spend time with all of my family, my friends, and hang out with them.” (11).
