SPOOKY EXPERIENCES

Are you still not over the spooky vibes of Halloween? Well here are some paranormal experiences people have had that might make you believe in ghosts!

“After a long stressful day at school and work I was finally in my bed ready to sleep. I closed my eyes for what seemed to be a split second and all of the sudden I was awake. I get a heavy feeling I’ve never had before and that’s when I knew something wasn’t right. I look and from the corner of my eye I see this figure just standing there…looking at me. I tried brushing it off but I felt so uneasy I couldn’t close my eyes. An hour had passed by and I was starting to doze off but when I opened my eyes again I saw this monster looking thing. It had a white face and eyes that looked like endless holes. His mouth was sewed up and around it looked like skin was falling off. I stayed still wishing that I was just hallucinating. After I had enough I got up to the living room, turned on all the lights and watched some tv. The tv started turning off randomly but I wasn’t going to let the ghost win. I ignored it and went on my phone. I ended up falling asleep in the couch until the next morning.” -Oscar Ramirez (12)
“I’ve been having sleep paralysis for years now. I think this experience was one of the most intense ones I’ve ever had. I woke up at 3:00 am on the dot when I realized it was happening again. As I opened my eyes, I realized I couldn’t move my body, as it usually happened. I could feel something was about to happen and I couldn’t do anything about it. The room was quiet and dark as I saw a figure which later realized looked like a witch. It had a long pointy nose with old wrinkly skin that seemed lifeless. She had gray hair, the color of salt and pepper and a big black coat that covered her entire body. She quickly starting coming towards me and as I saw this, I heard a loud scream near my ear. She was moving so fast toward me I thought she was gonna body slam me. Soon enough, the witch got so close to my face I felt her cold breath on my skin. I closed my eyes and opened them again. The witch was gone.” -Jennifer Garcia (12)

“I was 12 years old in seventh grade when I decided to go to Mexico for the first time ever. I remember the night being pitch black with no streetlights anywhere to be seen. We only had the big blue sky full of stars and the campfire that was being lit. It was so hot that night I decided to get my mattress to sleep outside. While I looked up at the sky admiring the sky full of stars, I see these two lights that didn’t look like stars as much as the others. They started dancing with each other. I put on my glasses in disbelief and as I blinked they parted ways so quickly it seemed like they were running away from something. From the corner of my eye I see a shadow. As I was paralyzed with fear for a split second the figure comes out to gobble at me. It was a chicken.” -Carlos Ramirez (12)
“It was the day of Halloween when I had to take care of my baby brother for a little bit. While playing with him, he looks over my shoulder and his eyes widen for a second. He started crying hysterically until he looked away. I know babies usually can see things we cant so my mind immediately thought he saw a ghost! After I felt shivers going down my spine, I noticed a huge spider crawling down my arm.” -Jayda Sena (11)
