Homecoming Dress Ideas and Tips

Homecoming is around the corner here are some tips and ideas on how to choose your dress:

“Personally, I feel homecoming is meant to wear short dresses, so don’t get a long dress. If you plan on going with a date choose a color prior to looking, it makes things so much easier when looking for a dress and narrows down your search. Lastly choose a dress you’ll feel comfortable in, you’ll be wearing it all night so you don’t want to feel awkward or uncomfortable the entire night.”-Kristiana Valdez(12)
“First plan ahead what color you would like to wear, look up dress styles that you might like, go to Macy’s or other stores like Casa Blanca, Apple Tree, or even online. After finding a dress figure out what kind of heels would look nice. Heels can be bought at places like Cozy Fox, Macy’s, or even Ross. If you buy either a dress or heels online make sure you read the comments and reviews . I personally bought my dress online at fashion nova and it turned out great. I had ordered it last Wednesday and it arrived on Friday of last week due to me paying for two day shipping. I recommend if shopping online to buy at least 2-3 weeks ahead before hoco. For hair I recommend to also look up hair styles that can go with your dress. Make sure you know who and when your hair and make up is going to be done on the day of. Mange your time well. You won’t want to be in rush. Hoco is the day where you get to dress pretty and have fun.” -Jessica santos(12)

“I think the best tips on choosing your dress would be the color your going for. If you have a date another tip is choosing a dress that would be trendy and somewhat expensive, but I would recommend a non expensive dress because your only going to wear it once.”-Ana Leon(12)

“The best tips I could give is that when looking for a dress see what type of makeup look you are going to wear, whether it is full or a more natural makeup look because if you wear a dramatic makeup look with and dramatic dress it can be too much. Another tip is wear either long or short dress, something that goes with the theme but also something comfortable because your going to be dancing all night.”-Eriselda Santos(12)
