“For homecoming, I am planning to get my makeup done by a friend. I want to go for a bronzy glam look. If you are planning to go to homecoming, go extra and show your inner beauty!” -Jessica Gutierrez (12)“My plans for doing my makeup for homecoming is to wake up early and make sure I have time to get ready so I won’t be rushed! I plan to go get my makeup done by a family friend. She’s been doing my homecoming makeup since sophomore year and I absolutely love the way she does it! I would like it to be between a natural look, but just enough to were it’s noticeable and somewhat elegant, but not too over board! A tip I would give a makeup beginner would be to just practice! Because practice is key and that’s the only way of getting better. It all takes time but trust in yourself and I bet you will do amazing!” -Kassandra Mendoza (12)
“For homecoming, I am planning to do my makeup simple but elegant. At the same time, not too dramatic but also not too simple. I was planning on going somewhere to get my makeup done. I prefer a simple look because I am already going to be wearing an elegant dress so my makeup would look better simple. Tips I would give to someone who’s going to do there makeup for homecoming would be to not pack it on with so much foundation but make themselves look beautiful and simple and to never forget to pop some lipstick on.” -Janelly Sanchez (12)
“This homecoming, I’m going for a glowy look with an orange smokey eye and a natural lip. I’m not the best at doing my makeup so for events like these I get my makeup done. I’m not the biggest fan of using a lot of makeup and usually go for a more natural look, but my dress this year is more on the simpler side and I might go for a more elegant look this homecoming. For someone who is a makeup beginner and is planning to do their makeup for homecoming, I would recommend trying different looks days before homecoming so you know more or less what your going to do. Adding lashes can change a whole look. Also, don’t do something you don’t feel comfortable having on your face, do something that makes you feel great!” – Karelen Rivas (12)
