I’ve played water polo for three years at PV. I am the starting varsity goalie. this year the team is looking a lot better then last year because there is a lot more athletes in the water playing for the boys team. Our team communication still needs work but our competitive drive is there. Hopefully we’ll get a win in one of our upcoming games. – Gervesh Nanalis (12th)
I played tennis for the girls varsity team. I’ve played tennis for the past two years for PV. This season I think we are going to win more because the change in leagues gave us more competition on our level rather than playing against girls who have played tennis their whole life. I’m excited to see where this season takes us. -Jordan Dodson (11th)
I’ve been playing tennis for three years at PV. My favorite game of this season is when we beat Santa Maria 8-0. Jordan Dodson was my partner and we smashed them; personally I played very well that game. Our next game is 9/18 3:30pm at Templeton. -Sarah Nuno (12th)
I am very proud of Pioneer Valley’s children this year. We have great leadership and kids that care so much about each other which is good because from the last graduating class we didn’t have nearly as much leadership as we have now.
Alyssa has played water polo for four years two years at AG and two years at PV. ” I feel like we’re doing better then last year and the new coach is a great addition to the water polo team because he is a very fair coach and the communication has gotten a lot better than last year. We try to put up a fight during every game. – Alyssa Cuevas (11th).
