The Perks of Being a Wallflower is a movie based on a book of the same name. It stars Logan Lerman as the main character Charlie and his two best friends played by Emma Watson, Ezra Miller plays Sam and Patrick respectively. The main story is about Charlie in his first year of high school, who has pretty much never had a single friend except one who committed suicide, so Charlie meets Patrick in one of his classes, and Sam at a football game. Sam and Patrick are step brother and sister.

The overall movie is really good, the story is quite similar to me in one way. The performances are done well by Logan. He makes a really good performance as Charlie. Emma and Ezra do a phenomenal job as Sam and Patrick. It has a really good licensed soundtrack with the likes of ”Heroes” by David Bowie and ”Come on Eileen” by the Dexys Midnight Runners to name a couple of songs.  I really enjoyed every single moment of the movie. The one similar point in the movie related to me is that I have never really had a single friend; there are people that I have known but never would I consider as a best friend. The movie is overall what feels like: a dream to myself that I wish would go away. But overall, I would say at least give this movie a chance at some point before you graduate from PV.
