How Did They Get There?
Article Two 2019-2020
We took a week off to look at elements of art and design. Now, we are back with drawings that include six characters. The characters are a dog, a cat, a giraffe, a rooster, a rose and a sphere. The assignment was to look at all of the elements and place them into a location. Any location of their choosing. The beautiful thing about a drawing is the artist is the creator. They are in charge. The characters could be in the jungle, in space, on a cookie… the possibilities are endless. The students are beginning to look at relationships between forms in a picture. See if anyone developed this. The work schedule was to work with the six figures, practice them for four days, then come up with a design to place them in. how did they do?
