Back To School Night!

On Thursady 29th, Back to School Night will be held for the parents to meet their kids teachers. They will get the chance to know what their students will be doing in each class, as in projects, ideas about the class, and teacher’s expectations. Here are seven interviews among teachers and students. They will tell us what they like and dislike about the Back to School Night, and what they’re excited about  if their are going.

 

Miss Feher

-“What are you most exited about the Back to school night?”                                                                           -“I like to be in the gym with the other teachers, so we can all talk and it’s nice to meeting the parents of some of the students.                                                                   -“What are you expecting from this meeting with the parents?”                                                                            -“Well, I have done a lot so what happens is I just say hello to the parents, nice to meet you, we bought say call me if there is any problem”.

Mrs Baines

-“What are you most exited about the back to school night?”                                                                           -“I think I’m the wrong person to ask because I can’t stand the way the school does it, or maybe I’m the right person to ask because I think that the school does it wrong. I think there should be a bell schedule so that the parents can go to all their kids’ periods with their guys. We don’t do it that way. We go all in the gym by a silly bar table, they don’t get to see the classrooms , they don’t get to see the presentations made by class so it annoys me. I would only be exited if they actually switched to that schedule where I could say: Welcome, you are here because… this is what we do, this is how it goes, these are my expectations”.

Alisha Sanchez

-“Are your parents going to Pioneer Valley Back to school night?”                                                                      -“Yes!”                                                                            -“Why?”                                                                                      -“Because they would like to know more about what we do here at school”.

Rachel Ramirez

-“Are your parents going to Pioneer Valley Back to school night?”                                                                     -“I’m not sure because my parents come out work late so it’s a maybe but if my parents get out earlier then they’re going to meet my teachers.”                                                       -“Why?”                                                                                        -“Because they want to know more about my teachers, how they grade, how they work and to know them better”.

Claudia Cortes

-“Are your parents going to Pioneer Valley Back to school night?”                                                                      -“Yes because the past two years they had to go so they could sign the paper, but this year they signed it earlier so they just go and they listen to the teachers!”                -“Are you going too?”                                                            -“Yes, because it’s mandatory”.

Bianca Cambero

-“Are your parents going to Pioneer Valley Back to school night?”                                                                      -“Yes”                                                                                             -“Why?”                                                                                        -“Well, just because they want to meet my teachers basically”.

Lilibeth Ramirez

-“Are your parents going to Pioneer Valley Back to school night?”                                                                      -“Yes”                                                                                             -“Why?”                                                                                       -“Because they take care of my grades and want to know my teachers”.
